Guess the Artist
DIGIPAKS?WHAT IS A DIGIPAK?
• A digipak is a type of CD box, usually used for special editions or re-released albums
• It is usually a folded piece of cardboard with a CD case in the middle
• It might contain Postcards or a Booklet to accompany the CD
• Digipak-style cases grew in popularity among record labels and recording artists in the early 2000s.

DIGIPAKS?• WHY MAKE A DIGIPAK?
• Digipaks are made to promote the SALES of the Artist, just like the video!
• Digipaks are still popular with Record Companies as they give fans a reason to buy a CD, not just download the content!

DIGIPAKS?Ancillary Task 1• You are required to produce a digipak that will contain a CD/DVD of the band whose
song you have made a video for.
• You can make a 4 panel or 6 panel digipak
• All images and artwork should be your own
• You only have to submit an electronic version of the digipak
• You can get up to 10 marks for your digipak
DISCOVER
There are 10 marks each available for your digipak and website
10 marks is the equivalent of a grade
Producing a good digipak and advert could move you from a C grade to a B grade
