Abstracts must be original and have not been published or presented at any congress prior to the 25

th WECOC 2013. The accepted abstracts will be published in the Program Book.

Instructions for Preparing Abstracts Please read the following instructions carefully before preparing your abstract. Abstract must be typed in ENGLISH with the body limited to 2,000 characters (not including

authors’ information). Maximum of 10 authors (including the first/presenting author) may be listed. In preparation of the abstract, please adopt the following structured format with the

components mentioned: Original Article Introduction - Methods - Results – Conclusions 1. Introduction: A statement of the hypothesis or research question. 2. Methods: An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used. 3. Results: A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data

must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading the abstracts. Statements such as "the data will be discussed" are not acceptable.

4. Conclusion(s): Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study. 5. Figures and images: In JPG file with the max. file size of 5MB, the dimensions of each

figures/images should be in 7cm*5cm *500 characters would be deducted from the total allowable number of characters for each figures and/or images.
