OverviewFor your formal wedding dinner, a customized plated dinner is an elegant choice. Our culinary team takes pride in the careful presentation of the plated dinner and will ensure that the culinary offerings at your wedding celebration are not only delicious but also beautiful.

Simply choose one salad for the opening course and one entrée, one starch and one vegetable for the main course. All of our plated dinners include bakery fresh rolls, whipped butter, ice water service, coffee, decaffeinated coffee and hot tea. Should you desire wine service with your plated dinner, our catering team can assist with wines selectons from Mission Point Resort’s extensive wine list, featuring a wide variety of varietals, vintages and prices.

Special plates for vegetarian and vegan guests can be prepared with advance notice. Should any of your guests have dietary restrictions or food allergies, these will of course be accommodated. We ask that you notify us of such at least 7 days prior to your event.

For children 12 and under, Mission Point offers selections from our Children’s Menu for $2000 per child.

A customary 20% service charge and 6% Michigan sales tax is applied to all food and beverage choices. A minimum of 15 guests applies to plated dinners. For dinners of less than 15 guests, our catering team will be glad to assist you with planning your wedding dinner in one of our restaurants.

OverviewFor your wedding dinner at Mission Point Resort, a more informal choice is a buffet dinner. Our culinary team offers extensive selections of delicious salads, entrées and accompaniments for the celebratory buffet.

Simply choose one green salad, one fruit, vegetable or pasta salad, two accompaniments and two entrées. All of our buffet dinners include bakery fresh rolls, whipped butter, ice water service, coffee, decaffeinated coffee and hot tea.

Mission Point Resort is pleased to offer a wide variety of beverage options, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to compliment your wedding celebration.

There are three types of bars available: a hosted or open bar, a consumption bar and a cash bar. A hosted or open bar, typically the best value bar option, is where the host of the luncheon, reception or dinner provides an open bar to their guests and is charged a flat rate per guest, per hour. A consumption bar is where the host of a luncheon, reception or dinner provides an open bar to their guests and is charged per drink served—per cocktail, per beer, per glass of wine. A cash bar is a bar at a luncheon, reception or dinner where the individual guests pay the bartender for each cocktail, beer and glass of wine they consume.

Mission Point is pleased to customize wine selections and pairings, should wine service during your wedding dinner be desired, or if an upgraded wine selection at the wedding bar be wished for. Our catering team works closely with our Beverage Director and Wine Consultant to assemble the perfect wine selection, customized to your wishes, from Mission Point’s extensive wine list, offering a wide variety of varietals, vintages and pricing.

All bars require one bartender per 75 guests at $10000 for 4 hours, $2000 each additional hour. Customary 20% service charge and 6% sales tax applied to all food and beverage.
