Your wedding day is undoubtedly one of the most exciting and memorable days of your life. Compton Verney offers a beautiful setting, for either an intimate ceremony and reception with close family and friends, or a lavish mansion house affair.
Weddings at Compton Verney include the following benefits:

Bespoke Weddings

Compton Verney specialises in creating bespoke weddings, tailoring each part of the day to exactly how you want it.
Weddings can take place any day of the week, all year round. Enjoy reduced rates on weekdays, Sundays and during low season (October to March).

The perfect Warwickshire wedding
Compton Verney is a renowned art gallery which makes this a unique
location for your wedding. Our collections are housed in a beautiful
Grade I listed Georgian mansion, which is surrounded by 120 acres of
spectacular ‘Capability’ Brown parkland.
There are a choice of locations for your civil ceremony or blessing;
either within the galleries, in the Adam Hall, outside in the parkland,
or in our chapel. You can then use the Adam Hall with its marble floor
and ornate ceiling for entertainment and to celebrate your marriage.

We have a choice of locations for your civil ceremony whatever your numbers.
The Adam Hall with its ornate ceiling and marble floor is available for wedding ceremonies of up to 100 guests.
We also have a choice of other licensed rooms for smaller ceremonies and outdoor areas for warmer weather.
Our newly restored Grade I listed ‘Capability’ Brown
Chapel is ideal for blessings. Please speak to the
Events Team for more information about the use of
this beautiful building.

With a wealth of experience and proven skill in providing the
finest ingredients and delicious food, our caterers are happy
to design menus with you.
They offer a great choice of inspirational menus which can be tailored
to your taste. Choose from either our seasonal menu pack or create your
own bespoke menus.
Once you have booked your wedding you will be offered a complimentary
menu tasting for up to four people. This is a great opportunity to sample
your favourite dishes from the menus.
Wedding Breakfast Drinks Reception
As a newly married couple, walk out onto the pillared portico and sip champagne whilst mingling with your guests, before stepping into the beautifully landscaped grounds, the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.
In cooler, or wet weather, enjoy your Drinks Reception in
the galleries surrounded by our fabulous works of art.
Choose from our suggested drinks packages and canapé menus, or
for something a little different contact the Events Team to discuss
alternative options.

Marquee weddings
Should your numbers exceed that of 100
for the Wedding Breakfast, we can provide a
beautiful marquee situated within our grounds,
with stunning lakeside views*.
Booking Compton Verney for your marquee wedding will include:
• Exclusive use of the Adam Hall and ground floor galleries for either Drinks Reception or Ceremony (max. 100 people)
• Use of the beautiful ‘Capability’ Brown parkland for photographs
• All necessary furniture, silver cake stand and knife
• A dedicated Event Manager

Evening Reception
Prepare to dance the night away before setting off into the night as a newly married couple waving a farewell to your guests.
When booking your Evening Reception you’ll find the following included:
• DJ with black and white dance floor
• Exclusive use of our contemporary bar room, complete with bar, leather sofas and coffee tables
• A midnight licence for the music and bar
• A maximum capacity of 150 guests.
If all that dancing has made you hungry, book one of our evening catering options.

Hire Items Why not impress your guests with some of our additional hire items to enhance your
wedding?
• Exhibition tours from £225.00 Available for groups of up to 25 people.
• Sweetie table £200.00 Compton Verney can provide a beautiful and
fully stocked vintage style sweetie table for your
wedding day. All sweets, bags and servers are
provided.
• Uplighters £250.00 To add an extra ‘wow’ factor to your wedding
we have 12 uplighters available to hire. These
are a beautiful addition to your day and create a
wonderful backdrop to light up the columns in
the Adam Hall or just to add some atmospheric
lighting to the bar room throughout the evening
reception. A variety of colours are available.
• Garden games £50.00 To keep younger guests (or older guests) entertained
why not provide some outdoor garden games? We
have several games available to hire including Jenga,
quoits, dominoes, giant snakes and ladders and
twister.
• Lanterns £75.00 Six small white, four large silver and four large bronze
lanterns. All of our lanterns are suitable for outdoor
use and make a beautiful addition to the portico or to
light up the driveway. Lanterns can also be used
indoors with LED candles.
• Post Box £25.00 A traditional styled Royal Mail post box in white.
