Harry Webb received a good doctor’s report. His blood clots are shrinking and the medication is working!!!
Selinda Taylor still has kidney stones and if they are not gone in two weeks she will need surgery. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Cooper, Carl & Johnnie Barnhill’s great grandson, is at Cook Children’s Hospital after having a seizure. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. February assignments & calendars are on the foyer table. Sonshine House is Monday, January 30th. Please be at the church building by 5:30 pm if you are able to help.

Encouraging the Encourager February 11, 2017
Edgemere Church of Christ Congregational leadership is not an easy task. Whether you are an elder, deacon, minister or serve in another role of church leadership, you are often faced with the challenge of practicing wise counsel to serve the gospel and the well-being of others. To encourage and equip you, this year’s leadership forum focuses on two distinct areas. First, beginning with the recognition that all of us are first followers of Jesus, we will pay close attention to our own spiritual development. Second, we will explore effective models and processes for elders, ministers, and church leaders to work together for the sake of God’s mission. This year’s conference is a partnership between the Edgemere Church of Christ and the Siburt Institute at Abilene Christian University-which has presented ElderLink conferences across the country for sixteen years.
