Free children’s Park Play activities for 0 – 8 year olds

FREE DINNER PROVIDED FOR THE MULTISPORT PARTICIPANTS (excluding Park Play activities)

• Young people are split into four groups – younger girls, older girls, younger boys, older boys.

• The groups rotate through different sport stations.• There will be a coach at each station to help young people learn new skills.• The two-hour program is followed by free dinner for Multisport participants. Dinner is

not provided for Park Play participants and other family members in attendance.• The sport activities are only for 8 – 16 year olds. Park Play activities will be held

for children under 8 years.• Bring your positive attitude, hat, water bottle, enclosed sports shoes and

comfortable clothes for running and jumping.

• Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to attend, supervise their children and stay for the duration of the program. All the family is welcome.

• Children participating in Park Play (under 8 years) must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian, who must stay with them at all times.

• Parents and guardians are responsible for pick-up and drop-off. The program will end at 6pm, and it is expected that everyone packs up and leaves the oval at this time.

• The organisers of this program will do everything in their power to ensure a safe environment, but people participate at their own risk.

• Program will run in light rain, please bring weather appropriate clothing.• Extreme weather or unexpected circumstances may force cancellation.

PLEASE NOTE: As this is a youth drop-in style environment, participants are free to come and go. Youth Services staff will be supervising a large number of participants, and parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that the young people in their care remain on the premises during the program/event. City staff cannot accept responsibility for participants who leave the premises and the program/event.
