[1] Kia ora Parents, Whanau, and Caregivers, Welcome back to school kids and community! It has been wonderful to see all of the children back at school this week aer a fantastic holiday. It was nice to see a balance of sunshine and rain, which has made the grass at school take oover the holidays. We have had a busy time at school during the break with our new library renovations beginning in the new location down by the courts. The library development is very exciting and we have been fortunate, aer discussions with the Ministry, to be able to utilise this building as a permanent library facility moving forward. We have a vision for this area in that it will be more than a library, we want to create a whanau learning centre for our whole community to be able to access information and learning opportunities. So watch this space as we work toward developing a wonderful facility for our tamariki and community. Have a great week and term ahead. We Need Your HelpIn our front court yard area of the school we have some amazing mosaic tables, each one representing our Welcome Bay learning attributes. Over time and with some help from the weather the grouting has eroded and many of the tiles have come off. We would like to repair the tables and stick the tiles back on with a stronger adhesive that will weather well and we need some grown up support to do this. If you have some spare time available and can offer some support, please let Mr House know and we will make a suitable time to begin the work along with the help of our children. We really appreciate your support ;)
