Specific name : Porphyritic granite
Colour : Grey
Grain size : Coarse grained (> 1 mm)
Texture : Porphyritic
Mineralogy : Plagioclase (15%), K-feldspar (45%), Quartz
(45%), Biotite and muscovite (10%)
Texture : The rock show prominent porphyritic texture with the
microcline and qartz as the main phenocryst phases. The
phenocrysts set in the relatively fine grained quartz, K-feldspar
and plagioclase matrix. Occasionally the quartz phenocryst
show cracks.
