HockeyAnother great game of Hockey this week with our children giving a huge effort on the turf. We played the Maungatapu Strikers in a very fast and active game that required a lot of solid defense. The end result was a loss of 8 - 4 and the player of the day was Lennia Takitaki.

Free Garden Mulch We have had a significant amount of clean-up work done in our school bush areas in recent months. As a result we have mulched a lot of the timber from the banks as it has been cleared. We now have several piles of mulch that would be great for gardens. If you would like to have some mulch for your home gardens please let us know and we can make arrangements for you to collect from school.

Welcome Bay School Bumper Stickers available from the school office for a gold coin donation ;) They look very cool and it is a great way to show you

are part of the team at WBS!

We Need Your HelpIn our front court yard area of the school we have some amazing mosaic tables, each one representing our Welcome Bay learning attributes. Over time and with some help from the weather, the grouting has eroded and many of the tiles have come off. We would like to repair the tables and stick the tiles back on with a stronger adhesive that will weather well and we need some grown up support to do this. If you have some spare time available and can offer some support, please let Mr House know and we will make a suitable time to begin the work along with the help of our children. We really appreciate your support ;)
