Will happen in MSU Google Docs

You don’t have to sit with your group right now.
We will only able to get through one round of peer review today; you will complete the second round of peer review for homework.
PEER REVIEW GROUPS
1. Kenny, Jingwei, Shannon
2. George, Brittany, Daniel
3. Buzz (Alex D.), Jamesha, Anne
4. Yasmin, Jack, Thomas
5. Marshall, Caleesha, Liyang

ROUND 1: BASIC FORMATTING
You will work in your peer review groups to create PowerPoint-style presentations that demonstrate how to FORMAT documents in correct MLA style.
You’ll present your work at the end of the class.
Your MLA Idol judges will rate your presentations on:
Correctness Clarity Style
There are prizes.
ROUND 1: BASIC FORMATTING
You’ll work inside MSU Google Docs (in the “MLA Activity” folder) for easier sharing and presenting.
Use your McGrawHill Handbook to help you.
Each group will have a different formatting task/feature to demonstrate.
Groups 1, 2, 3: How do I change my document margins so they are correct?
Groups 4, 5, 6: What is the correct first page heading?
Groups 7, 8, 9: How do I correctly insert page numbers?
ROUND 1: BASIC FORMATTING
Guidelines: MAXIMUM of 3 slides. Demonstrate the steps you have to take to
do certain things (i.e. what menus and such do you have to use in Microsoft Word?)
Use screen captures as visual aids. Put your names on the presentations. Save your presentations as
“Group#Presentation”
WRAP-UP
Your homework will be to peer review the other individual in your group so that everyone has been reviewed by everyone else. Then you’ll write a blog post about it. Check the schedule later today for updates.
I’ll review everyone’s rough drafts and give general feedback in a video on Friday.
Repeat after me: I NOW HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR INCORRECT DOCUMENT FORMATTING!!!
Thank you Ana! Seacrest out!
