Selama kurun waktu 10-16 Juni 2012, pemberitaan yang terkait dengan PT Semen Gresik
(Persero) Tbk, baik secara langsung maupun tidak, mencapai 36 berita. Laporaqn ini mengategorikan
berita ke dalam empat kategori. Pertama, yang secara langsung berkaitan dengan perusahaan,
terutama dari sisi kinerja. Berita kinerja (termasuk di dalamnya soal ekspansi dan inovasi) sangat
penting untuk memengaruhi pemegang saham dan investor. Kedua, berita-berita terkait kompetitor
perusahaan. Monitoring berita-berita kompetitor sangat diperlukan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana
kinerja dan rencana bisnis kompetitor.
Ketiga, berita-berita khusus terkait Program Kemitraan dan Bina Lingkungan (PKBL).
Keempat, berita-berita yang berkaitan dengan bisnis perusahaan, seperti pembangunan infrastruktur,
aturan pasar modal, maupun perkembangan dunia properti. Berita-berita ini penting dipantau karena
terkait dengan perkembangan bisnis perusahaan.
Berdasarkan review pada berita-berita yang sudah beredar di media massa dalam kurun waktu
laporan ini, kecenderungan isi atau tone pemberitaan yang berkaitan langsung dengan Semen Gresik
adalah positif. Dengan demikian, tone pemberitaan masih IN-LINE dengan misi Tim Humas
perusahaan. Pesan kunci (key messages) yang coba diusung oleh Tim Humas mampu tersampaikan di
media massa.
Hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan bisnis perusahaan juga cukup luas dimuat di media massa
dalam kurun waktu laporan ini. Salah satu isu yang menonjol yang dimuat di hampir semua media
massa adalah pemberlakuan uang muka minimal sebesar 30 persen untuk kredit pemilikan rumah
(KPR) bagi rumah dengan luas bangunan minimal 72 meter persegi,
Belanja infrastruktur juga mendapat porsi yang signifikan di media-media arus utama seperti
Jawa Pos, Bisnis Indonesia, dan Investor Daily. Terdapat anggota DPR yang meminta pemerintah
untuk menaikkan rasio belanja infrastruktur hingga sebesar 5 persen terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto
(PDB) dalam tiga tahun dari posisi saat ini sekitar 1,28 persen terhadap PDB. Pada tahun 2013, dalam
Rencana Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (RAPBN) disebutkan, belanja infrastruktur
mencapai Rp 114,6 triliun, meningkat 12,9 persen dibanding 2012 sebesar Rp 101,54 triliun.

sebagai salah satu komponen penting dalam pembangunan infrastruktur. Kondisi ini sekaligus
menunjukkan ekspansi perseroan dengan menambah pabrik baru in-line dengan permintaan pasar
yang terus tumbuh tinggi
Rencana PT Jasa Marga Tbk membentuk empat konsorsium dengan menggandeng Badan
Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) untuk menggarap empat proyek tol di Sumatera harus diantisipasi
perusahaan dengan memperkuat penguasaan pasar di Sumatera melalui Semen Padang.
Secara umum laporan ini bisa dijadikan bahan untuk memperkaya pemberitaan yang didesain
oleh Tim Humas perusahaan. Data-data seperti anggaran infrastruktur bisa menjadi data penguat
dalam strategi komunikasi yang akan dilancarkan perseroan di masa mendatang.
