Midweek ClassesAll of our youth midweek classes will begin THIS Wednesday, September 9, 5:00 p.m. in the Youth Room at the La

Vista Site. We will be following a new schedule this year. All students in grades 5-8 are invited to come for a

large group opening activity at 5:00 p.m., at 5:30 p.m. we will break into classes (5 & 6 Grade Bibleth th

Challenge, 7 Grade Confirmation Class & 8 Grade Life Groups) we will then end the evening with dinner fromth th

6:30-7:00 p.m. There will be an additional 7 Grade Confirmation Class offered from 6:45 - 7:45 p.m. and theth

High School will meet from 7:00- 9:00 p.m.

Women’s Bible StudyPlease join us a we journey with Liz Curtis Higgs as she unveils timeless wisdom from the Queen of

Sheba in her study, “It’s Good to be Queen.” Two of our Women’s Bible study groups will be doing

this study. The Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study will begin on Thursday, September 10, 9:00

a.m. in room 216 at the La Vista Site and the Monday Night Women’s Bible Study will begin on

L.I.F.T.It’s apple time again! We will be carpooling to the Nebraska City Apple Orchards on Monday,

September 14, 10:45 a.m. where we will enjoy lunch at the Lied Lodge. Lunch will cost $10-

Hispanic MinistrySergio Puente, our Facility Manager, has accepted a position with Nebraska District. He will be working with

churches in Columbus, NE to plant a Hispanic Ministry in that area. Sergio will be working in Columbus four days

a week for the next year, then in 2016, he and his family will be moving out there. Please join us in praying for

this ministry and Sergio and his family as they begin this next step in their lives.
