In this activity sixth grade students were asked to explore through inquiry based questions, the three main ingredients that make up weather. This comprehensive Weather and Climate Investigation is designed to be used over a period of weeks. Through the combination of experimentation and the integration of technology, the students will gain an understanding of weather and climate that impacts the continental United States. This will be achieved by having the students working in collaborative groupings to create a Microsoft OneNote notebook that will serve as a curriculum resource manual. The students will demonstrate their understanding by creating a video documentary focusing on one of the various weather events that affects The United States of America.
