Optimal learning can only happen if you are in good health!

UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCESIn the event that something unusual
occurs, please come talk to me either before or after class.
I cannot make informed decisions if I am not informed!
ABSENT - If you are absent, to return to class you MUST
have an admit slip from the attendance office.
I will not permit you to be in class without the admit slip!
Make up work is to be placed in the appropriate basket on top of the bookshelves in the back of the room!
If you miss a test due to illness, you must make that test up within two make up sessions.
MORE ABOUT MAKE UP TESTING Make up math tests will be administered
in room F232 on Tuesday morning (7:55-8:45) or Wednesday afternoon (4:10-5:00)
A Marshall Student ID is REQUIRED; if you don’t have one, get one ASAP!
If the absence is unexcused, the maximum grade you can receive on the test is a 70.
MORE ABOUT MAKE UP TESTING If you do not make up the test in the
allotted time, the grade will remain a zero!
Any bonus question(s) will not add to the score of a make up test
For unusual circumstances, please TALK to me!
CLASSROOM ETIQUETTE Comments and questions during a class
learning session must remain on topic. If you are asking about something that ONLY pertains to you, save it for after the presentation!
Do NOT write on the desks, walls, floors, calculators, shelves, windows, etc. Damaging school property is a major offense and will result in an office referral.
Throw trash in the proper receptacle. Recyclable paper should be placed in the recycle bin. There is NO excuse for leaving your trash/paper on the floor, shelves, desks, or anywhere other than the trash receptacles!
PERSONAL ELECTRONIC DEVICES Cell phone use (aside from being
prohibited by district policy) is VERY rude and distracts from our primary goal, learning. By choosing to use a cell phone at an inappropriate time, you are choosing to have it CONFISCATED.
MP3 players are STILL prohibited on campus.
