Help for Those

with Hearing Loss

St. Mary Parish has purchased three Listen Display Receivers which have been tied to the Church’s sound system. By plugging in a set of earphones, ear buds or head phones, a parishioner will get assistance to hear what is going on in the Mass. The devices will be available to be checked out for use before each Mass and would need to be returned at the conclusion of Mass. Anyone wishing to check out a receiver must sign up ahead of time in the Parish Office. Due to the cost of each receiver, only a limited number are available so they will be handed out at each Mass on a first come first serve basis. Anyone wishing to contribute to the purchase of more receivers should contact Marybeth in the Parish Office, 541-342-1139.

Thank you to the Dolecheks who made a donation to purchase additional hearing devices for the parish,

in memory of their daughter Danielle Dolechek.

THANK YOU for adding St. Mary to your

Inside the St. Mary Library…

A Divine Mercy Resource: How to Understand the Devotion to Divine Mercy by Richard Torretto review by Katherine Hostetter.

This author reminds us of a short Divine Mercy prayer that can save many souls. Jesus promised, "When you say this prayer, with a contrite heart and faith on behalf of some sinner, I will give him the grace of conversion: O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You." St. Faustina's Diary, section 186. What an astounding grace this is! By saying it for neighbors, co-workers, bad drivers, politicians--or directing it to anyone Jesus chooses--we can help Him change the world! This book also has information about the other beautiful Divine Mercy devotions.

St. Mary Library is located adjacent to the Adoration Chapel and is open Sundays

10:00 am -11:00 am & 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, and Tuesdays from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

Religion in Literature The next Religion in Literature meeting will be on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 7:00 pm in the St. Mary room of the Parish Center. The book to be discussed is The Universal Christ by Richard Rohr, part 2.

Generations in Reading St. Mary would like to welcome children and adults to participate in this local area program that encourages multigenerational shared reading of children’s Bible stories in the Parish Center every 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month, between the 9:00 am and 11:00 am Masses. For more information, please stop by or come and join us.

Volunteer Opportunities

Did you know, St. Mary has a brand new coffee bar located in the Parish Hall? We are looking for some dedicated Baristas to learn to make specialty coffees and smoothies, and serve our parishioners during special events and Sunday hospitality. If you are experienced or are interested in learning this new skill, call the Parish Office at 541-342-1139 for training details.

Entonces Juan accedió a bautizarlo.
