Music in Worship: Sunday, September 9, 2018 Introit: Jubilate Deo (Giovanni Gabrieli, 1892-1983)Jubilate Deo, omnis terra; servite Domino in laetitia. Introite in conspectu ejus in exsultatione. Introite portas ejus in confessione; atria ejus in hymnis:confitemini illi. Laudate nomen ejus, quoniam suavis est Dominus: in aeternum misericordia ejus,et usque in generationem et generationem veritas ejus.

O be joyful in the Lord, all ye lands:serve the Lord with gladness, and come before his presence with a song.Be ye sure that the Lord he is God; it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves;we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.O go your way into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise;be thankful unto him, and speak good of his Name. For the Lord is gracious, his mercy is everlasting;and his truth endureth from generation to generation.

––Psalm 100

Was betrübst du dich, meine Seele, und bist so unruhig in mir? Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O de-liver me from the deceitful and unjust man. For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my counte-nance, and my God.

Music notes will return on September 23.
