2016~2017 Esther Chau 2nd Grade Mandarin Class Dear Students and Families, Welcome to Ms. Chau’s Mandarin Class! I’m so excited about the opportunity to get to know you, and I’m looking forward to a happy and productive school year. I have created a website for all second graders. You will find all kinds of information to help your child to be successful in the class. There are some forms I need parents to fill out and turn in. Also please bring a 1/2inch binder for your child to keep their Mandarin worksheets. Please turn in everything by Friday 8/19. I have explained to your child my classroom procedures and expectations. In order to keep our classroom enjoyable for everyone, students need to follow classroom procedures and rules. I will share with you my classroom procedures and expectations at the Back to School Night. Our class needs volunteers! You, as parents, you can make this a rewarding year for the children. Classroom volunteers are consistent helpers; I don’t encourage parents to simply show up to help unannounced. It takes too much time away from my students to find something for you to do. Also, if you have a special hobby, interest, or talent please let me know. If you have any questions or concerns or if you would like to visit our classroom, please schedule a meeting after the week of 8/30 (BacktoSchool Night).
