We believe that standardization is the key factor
in the success of an efficient, scalable and cost
effective IT system. However, we are much aware
that every country and company has their own
specifics, and thus there is room for specifications
in our standard country and company layers.
The core layer consist of the inni™ platform.
The country layer is designed to make the inni™
platform operational in a specific country. Each
country has different TSO’s, markets, regulators,
tariffs etc. These ‘operational settings’ are
applicable for all companies in a specific country
and are made available by Powerhouse.
However, if a customer of inni™ wants something
different or extra this is also possible and is
considered part of the customization.
The company layer is where the configuration for
the products, branding, and customer
portal is completed. Partly, this can be done via
the standardized configuration options, or
it can be customized to the specific wishes of a
customer.

The Core layer
The contract, meter-to-cash platform is the core layer of inni and takes care of all of the processes and functionalities needed to run the business. The high level of con-figurability makes inni easy to use and very flexible to match your company. This is the digital backbone for utilities.
The Country layer
The operational settings of the country lay-er supports, for example, the connection with daily market APX in the Netherlands; the TSO Amprion in Germany; the daily market OMIE in Spain; or Central Access Point Register EDSN in the Netherlands. For each country, the specific operational settings will be different in order to comply with local regulations.
The Company layer
For the company layer, there exists a set of pre-configured standard settings; for example, product elements for a fixed price, electricity product, or a customer portal. We also under- stand that each company is unique and that this is not captured in standardization. During the implementation of the company layer, this will be the differentiator but with the easy configuration settings this will be a pleas-ant and stress-free experience.
