WELCOME MESSAGE
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 2015 IEEE
Conference on Standards for Communications & Networking (IEEE CSCN’15), held in Tokyo, Japan’s capital.
The dates of IEEE CSCN’15 were deliberately chosen to have the conference immediately precede the 94th
IETF meeting that will take place in the nearby Yokohama city in Japan.
IEEE CSCN’15 will deliver a rich technical program discussing the future of mobile communications
systems, offering four distinguished keynotes, two panels and a dozen of technical sessions. The sessions
consist of technical papers reviewed and selected by an international technical program committee, representing
both academia and industry, with a strong standardization background.
IEEE CSCN’15 will be an excellent networking and publicity event with strong presence of industry,
offering the opportunity for academics and industrial people to meet and exchange ideas and information. This
is indeed one of the main objectives of the conference. IEEE CSCN’15 will be also a platform for presenting
and discussing standards-related topics in the areas of communications, networking and related disciplines,
facilitating standards development as well as cooperation among the key players.
Tokyo is one of the most vibrant cities in the world where technology and innovation meet centuries-long
tradition. For more than hundred years, Tokyo continues to cultivate global leaders in the fields of science and
technology and offers great opportunities. We sincerely wish you an excellent stay in one of the most dazzling
metropolises with endless tourist attractions and fine cuisine.
IEEE CSCN’15 would not have made it without the highly–appreciated contributions and efforts of all the
members of the organizing and technical program committees, the numerous reviewers, paper authors,
presenters, speakers and volunteers. We do sincerely thank them for working diligently to make the 2015
edition of IEEE CSCN a great success. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our patrons,
exhibitors, distinguished speakers, and panelists for the great support they have shown towards the conference.
Last, but not least, the support of the IEEE Communications Society staff is greatly appreciated.
We look forward to welcoming you all at the IEEE CSCN’15 in Tokyo.
