7. Check your basic devices/ instruments - BP apparatus, steth, tape measure, weighing scale, blood & urine strips ( blood sugar, blood cholesterol, urine ketones )

8. Know about PCB I required by Philhealth - most are on public health

Cancer 1. impt. : breast, prostate, cervix, lungs , leukemias in children2. Type Z promotion by DOH hospitals’ ( Surgery dept. )3. Cancer registry – all forms4. Cervix : Acetic Acid Wash training under CECAP ( MHOs, PHNs, Midwives )5. Breast Cancer screening & treatment ( Phil. College of Surgeons )

6. Cancer pain relief: use only Morphine tablets

- try asking from NMMC pharmacy ( sometimes not available ) - patient must have the ff. ; a. medical certificate , re : “ Cancer “ as dx b. prescription of Morphine tabs. by a physician with S2 License

7. know the support gp. For Cancer survivors – at NMMC ---- “ KANSA gp ) - handled by Family medicine dept.
