LED DISPLAY (on some models)

• The Vivreau Bottling System has been designed to be simple for you and your staff to use.

• The first thing you should notice is the LED display on the front (pictured here).

• Power - LED will show blue when the system is plugged in and turned on.

• CO2 - When the CO2 supply is low a red LED will light up and beep alerting you to change the CO2 tank.

• Service - Will light red and beep if there is a problem, please call The VIVREAU Service Department immediately.

• Drip tray Light (if equipped) will light red and beep alerting you to empty the drip tray container located just inside the front door or below the system

TAPS• The Still and Sparkling Taps have been preset to fill VIVREAU bottles.

• The Taps should be fully opened when filling and fully closed, please do not allow the taps to slam shut.

• The system is designed to fill bottles of up to 1 liter, one at a time. The taps must be closed after each bottle.

• VIVREAU Bottles should be filled to the line in the neck just below the cap. It is especially important that the sparkling water has room for the CO2 gas to expand.

• At the end of service the black tap nozzles should be removed and soaked in sanitizing solution. The taps and machine should be wiped down with sanitizing solution to keep the system clean and in hygienic condition. Once the machine is wiped down and nozzles removed both taps should be wrapped in cling wrap to prevent contamination and miss-use while not in service.

• To return the system to service the cling wrap should be removed and tap nozzles rinsed off and put back onto taps.

CO2

• The CO2 canister can be located inside the front of the system or outside the system in a remote location.

• Regardless of location the tank is fitted with a regulator that has been preset. For proper operation the regulator should never be adjusted by the user.

• To change the CO2 loosen the connection to the tank with the provided wrench and remove the regulator from the tank. Make sure the gasket between the tank and regulator is in place and not damaged.

• The regulator should be hand tightened to the new tank and then tightened snug with the provided wrench. Never over tighten.

• The CO2 tank must always be secured to prevent it from falling.

• Please refer to your local CO2 supplier for complete handling and safety instructions.

BEFORE USE

• Before use ALWAYS wash your hands

• ALWAYS wear hygiene gloves

• Remove anti-bacterial cling film from dispense taps

• Wipe dispense taps, nozzles, drip tray and cabinet works surface with anti-bacterial wipes

BOTTLING FILLING• Place CLEAN SANITIZED bottle under dispense tap

• Fill bottle to top of neck line

• NEVER fill to very top of bottle

• Close cap immediately after filling

• If bottles are not to be served immediately, store in a cool, dry environment, preferably a refrigerator DO NOT freeze bottles

AFTER DAILY USE• Remove dispense nozzles and place in sanitizing container using sanitizing solution

• Leave dispense nozzles in sanitizing solution for a minimum of 4 hours

• Ensure protective gloves are worn when in contact with sanitizing solution

• Fit (sanitized) dispense nozzles back in place

• Wipe dispense taps, nozzles, drip tray and cabinet works surface with anti-bacterial wipes and sanitizing spray

• Wrap dispense taps with anti-bacterial cling film

• After bottles have been used, empty remaining contents and place bottles in red storage crates

• Bottles must be handled with care and should not be allowed to rub and bang together. This could cause weakness in the glass, which may not be visible.

• Please use VIVREAU storage crates and dishwasher trays

• DO NOT empty into water system drip tray

• New bottles MUST be sanitized before first use

• Inspect bottles for damage, any bottles showing any signs of damage or cracks should be discarded and recycled appropriately

• Visually check the bottles for food particles or any other solids

• If solids have been found, wash the bottles in a three compartment sink according to local health code (wash water, rinse water & sanitizer)

• Sanitize bottles in Dishwasher

• Ensure bottles are placed upside down in bottle washing tray

• Leave caps attached to bottle during sanitization. DO NOT close cap

• After sanitization process, keep bottles in tray and remove from washer

• Leave bottles in tray until cool and dry. DO NOT close cap

• After bottles have cooled, secure cap

• Before storing bottles visually inspect for any damage

• Place bottles upright in blue storage crates

• Storage crates can be stacked on top of each other

• To ensure exterior of bottles are kept clean, place antibacterial cling film over the top crate

NO STILL WATER

Check main water supply is on.

NO SPARKLING WATER

If just gas is coming out, check the main water supply or power. If nothing is coming out check CO2 tank and change if needed.

LED DISPLAY

Power Light - make sure unit is plugged in to a working power outlet.

CO2 Light - change CO2.

Service Light - Turn power switch to off position and check still water. If still water is not working check main water supply. Turn power switch back to on position. If Service Light returns call Vivreau.

Drip Tray Light- Empty the drip tray waste container.

WARM WATER

Check that the power supply is plugged in and the power switch is in the on position. Make sure the condenser grill is not clogged or blocked.

It is important that both you and your staff can change cylinders safely, efficiently and competently.

Changing a Suregas (carbon dioxide) cylinder

1. Turn and close off the valve on top of the empty cylinder

2. Using the correct wrench, undo the nut on the cylinder to disconnect the high pressure hose or primary regulator, and allow residual gas to escape from the hose.

3. Place the regulator within safe reach (do not drop the wrench or leave it hanging)

4. Release the bracket or chain securing the cylinder

5. Put on protective gloves and carefully move the empty cylinder to the storage area (do not replace plastic plugs on the outlet of empty CO2 cylinders)

6. Secure the empty cylinder upright, or lie flat and check it to prevent rolling

7. Remove the plastic plug or tape from the new full cylinder outlet and discard it

8. Purge the replacement cylinder by quickly opening and closing the valve on the top to clear any dust or moisture from the outlet (always point the outlet away from your body and wear safety glasses when purging)

9. Connect the high pressure hose or the primary regulator, and check that the sealing washer is fitting correctly

10. Tighten the nut firmly with the spanner

11. Turn on the valve on top of the cylinder

12. Check for leaks using a solution of soapy water or a commercial equivalent.

Always connect CO2 cylinder to regulator

Never try to connect cylinder directly to carbonator

Never interconnect CO2 or gas cylinder equipment

Always secure cylinder upright whilst in use, and keep spare cylinders secured

Always keep cylinder away from heat

Never drop or throw cylinders

Never try to unscrew fittings from containers

Always ventilate area after CO2 leakage

PLEASE REMEMBER CARBON DIOXIDE CAN BE DANGEROUS AND POTENTIALLY FATAL.

PLEASE REFER TO YOUR LOCAL CO2 SUPPLIER FOR COMPLETE HANDLING AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

This information should be displayed in a position adjacent to the CO2 cylinder at all times.
