Roles and Responsibilities of PDC MembersThis list was created by PDC Members at our

meetings in August 2007:

Track attendance for all school staff development sessions

Give certificates for in-house sessions- 12 points max (school-wide) and 12 points max (grade level / department meetings); Keeping up with hours

Planning site-based staff development / providing it as well; Answer questions about in-house staff development

Roles and Responsibilities of PDC Members, continued•Review SD website with experienced teachers; introduce to new teachers•Advising – explaining what’s expected with certification to staff members; Make sure they know what counts/ doesn’t in different categories•Make sure colleagues are aware of HCS Staff Development opportunities•Be aware of who is up for renewal; how to support them•Serve as liaison to subject area learning specialist

Second Semester Responsibilities of PDC MembersContinue tracking attendance for all

school staff development sessionsDetermine who is up for renewal in June
