The purpose of the Art Walk is to promote local businesses, while helping to foster the careers of Illinois artists; and to honor individuals who have contributed and dedicated themselves to the arts community. We thank the merchants for displaying the artwork; Heather Way and the Board & Staff of the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce; and the Art Walk Chairs – Gregory and Cristina Gaymont and Wendy Schulz for their support and assistance. The Art Walk is made possible through the support of sponsors, individual donors, merchants and volunteers who donate funding, resources, goods and services to help make this a special event. In this fragile economy, we appreciate your financial support. In order to continue the Art Walk annually, we ask that you support these local businesses. I look forward to seeing you at our MEET THE ARTIST DAY followed by our RECEPTION/AWARD CEREMONY on Saturday July 10, 2010 as we continue to celebrate the work of Illinois’ talented artists.
