Apriso Corporations board of directors has approved and signed what is known as a “definitive agreement” for the acquisition of Apriso by Dassault Systèmes
Decision was based on what was best to ensure continued growth of Apriso’s products, customer base and employees
The transaction is pending regulatory review, but is expected to close in the next few weeks

Dassault Systèmes' DELMIA digital manufacturing and virtual production solution will bolster that portfolio with several vertical industry-specific MES solutions sets (CPG, consumer goods, high tech, life sciences, transportation & mobility, aerospace & defense and industrial equipment) quite significantly,” said ARC. “With Apriso’s FlexNet MES solution, Dassault Systèmes will be able to deliver MES applications across multiple sites to enable process standardization and control,” said Gartner “By integrating Apriso’s manufacturing execution systems (MES) and MOM solutions with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, customers will have a more comprehensive view of their business, from idea to design, to production and global product availability for consumers worldwide,” said TEC. “Looking ahead, Apriso offers Dassault Systèmes' opportunities to strengthen its manufacturing intelligence capabilities by incorporating DS tools for social collaboration, search, dashboarding etc.,” said IDC. “For current Apriso customers, in the short-term (0-2 years) the acquisition should accelerate the scale and speed at which the solution provider can deliver the MOM platform across the global plant network,” said LNS Research
