Weather TIPS:

If threatening weather happens during the day, please find the nearest town and seek shelter. It ismuch safer to get off the road if there is a heavy rain or hail. In these situations, visibility is reduced andvehicles may not see you on the road. Most of the time, a bad weather cell will pass over within 1/2hour or so. Our advice is to find a town, and wait for it to pass. If there isn't a town in site, you can finda farmhouse, or sheltered area to wait it out. Those with smart phones, check the radar and help yourfellow cyclists determine the safest course of action.

If threatening weather happens during the evening at the campsite, we will notify you via email,FB and public announcement if necessary.
