Each student will receive one agenda.Please write your name on your agenda.Do not loose you agenda, you will not be

Lockers!Who needs a locker?
Everyone will get their own locker.If you need to go to your locker, you must go in the morning, at lunch or at the end of the day. Not between classes!Before lunch, you will have time to go to your locker to get your lunchbox AND your materials for your next classes. You will have time at the end of lunch to return your lunchbox to your locker.Your lockers are assigned alphabetically by homeroom. See me for your locker number and combination.
Bells!There are two bells, the first is the
teacher’s indicator that class has finished.
The second bell is the tardy bell. You need to be in your seats when the tardy bell rings.
There is a tardy policy.Who remembers the tardy policy?

Ident-A-Kid Sign In/Sign Out Procedure Sign In
If students are late they are to sign in using the computer and they will print a ticket to turn in to teacher.
Sign OutIf students are signing out, they will sign out at the
computer kiosk and give printed ticket to Mrs. Perry.If a student is an athlete, they will sign out as they
have in the past using Mrs. Perry's lists.
Lunch Procedures!Each day we will eat lunch as a
homeroom in here. I will let you choose who you sit with,
but you must remain in these seats until track out. You will be able to switch seats each quarter.
5 minutes silent lunch at the start-please see lunch rules.
Lunch Rules! 5 minutes silence at the start of lunch. Noise must be kept to an acceptable level. You must remain seated at all times. Cover your food when you heat it up in the
microwave with a napkin!! Clean up after yourself. We need 2 sweepers and 2 desk cleaners each
week. I will do this by alphabetical order!
Lunch Detention!
Lunch detention will always be held in building 2, health room 201.

After School Detention!
After school detention will be held on any day of the week from 3:15-4:15.

School Wide Discipline Policy
Upon receiving 4 lunch detentions in one quarter (in any class) you will receive an ASD from that point forward.
Upon receiving 2 ASDs in one quarter you will receive an office referral from that point forward.
This will start fresh each quarter. ASD will consist of reflection questions your student must
complete. ASD will rotate between team members and will be held from
3:15-4:15 on a day specified by the teacher who has ASD that week.
7th Grade Electronics Policy Students may not use electronic devices such as
cell phones, iPods, etc. before school, during school, at lunch, or after school. If students are found using an electronic device, students will face the following consequences:
•1st Offense - Teacher confiscates the device and students may pick it up at the end of the day.
•2nd and All Subsequent Offenses - Teacher confiscates the device and a parent/guardian must pick it up.
Dress Code!
Every middle school student must wear the correct uniform.
Consequences for not wearing the correct uniform: See Dress Code Policy.
The 7th Grade team will be checking this on a regular basis!! Be sure to be in dress code all the time!

Emergency Procedures!Fire Drill: We will exit the
classroom to the right and head out the back doors and walk across the field to the woodline.
Tornado Drill: Go out into the hallway and sit down against the wall, not the lockers with your back against the wall. Then bend forward and cover your head with your arms.
Library/Media Center Rules!
Students may check out books for 2 weeks. Students may renew books if needed. Students will be charged 5 cents for every day a book
is late. Lost book fees will include the cost of the book and $5
shipping/tax fee. Reference books and magazines may not be taken out
of the library. No food or drink! Scheduled times will be available for you to go to the
Media Center.

The Positive Pledge
Read the Pledge Sign that you promise to
stay positive this year. Trace your hand on a sheet
of paper. Cut it out, decorate it, and sign your name.
