• Written examination papers:

Physiological factors affecting performance: 90marks. 2 hours

Psychological factors affecting performance: 60marks. 1 hour

Socio-cultural issues in physical activity and sport: 60marks. 1 hour

Performance in physical education: 60marks. Non-exam assessment. One practical/coaching performance and EAPI (oral exam)

• You need to decide what is your best practical sport – based on the clubs you attend out of school

• We will need to know:

• 1. your sports

• 2. the clubs you attend on a regular basis

• 3. the level you are competing at

• 4. any other roles you are actively practicing – coach/referee/umpire

• 5. fixtures list

• Also within the practical remit is the ‘EAPI’ this is the ‘The Evaluation and Analysis for Performance Improvement’

• This is the student’s ability to evaluate a practical performance and give a detailed evaluative oral response based on strengths and weaknesses of the performance, create an action plan to improve an area of weakness.
