Mrs. Dunn & APUSHHello! My name is Nadine Dunn and this will
be my first year teaching in Cabarrus County. I
previously taught in Rowan County where I
was Teacher of the Year for East Rowan High
School from 2019-2020. I am originally from
Missouri, and I earned degrees in History and
Sociology from the University of Missouri. I
moved to North Carolina in 2013 and received
my teaching certificate for secondary social
studies from Catawba College. I love my
subject and look forward to teaching our
young historians!

Exam InformationThe APUSH Exam is Thursday May 6th, 2021. The exam is organized as follows:

45 Questions | 1 Hour | 45% of Exam Score
● Questions will be presented in 5 sets, with shorter stimulus passages.● 23–25 Reading questions● 20–22 Writing questions Section II: Free Response
3 Free-Response Questions | 2 Hours 15 Minutes (includes a 15-minute reading period) | 55% of Exam Score
● 1 synthesis question● 1 rhetorical analysis question● 1 argument question
The free-response questions will now be scored using analytic rubrics

We will read 3 novels this year, dates for those will be given at a later time. I strongly encourage you to purchase your own copy so that you may annotate. If you are unable to purchase a copy please email me to let me know.
