AboutThe La Trobe School of Economics is the first one in Australia to offer a Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree (PPE). This is a prestigious multidisciplinary programme combining three important disciplines to provide an understanding of contemporary issues and policies.

In addition, our other courses offer students the opportunity to specialise in a multitude of economics and finance areas. As a result, our graduates are well-rounded, professionally trained, and keenly sought after by employers.

Page 21: Welcome to Business, Economics and Law Course information session

Welcome• In groups of about 3

students• Say Hi! And introduce

yourself by name

Page 22: Welcome to Business, Economics and Law Course information session

This is a Game of Luck and Knowledge

• Each group has one Lingo Bingo Card of 6 cells

• Each cell has a possible ‘answer’ to a question

• Write down the team member FIRST names on the card.

Page 23: Welcome to Business, Economics and Law Course information session

Linda will call a question ...• Discuss the possible answer• If your Lingo Bingo Card has the correct answer,

cross out the answer in the cell and write the Q# in the cell.

• There are 14 questions, you have only 6 cells, so there is a big chance the answer is not on your card!

Page 24: Welcome to Business, Economics and Law Course information session

• Linda then gets onto the next question .....

Page 25: Welcome to Business, Economics and Law Course information session

Winners are ...• Those in the group which are the first to have

all 6 CORRECTLY struck out.• They are to shout LINGO BINGO, have their

card checked while we continue the questions (for 2nd etc)
