Background Founded in 1972. Based in Caithness. Initial work predominantly in the Nuclear

Industry at Dounreay and Vulcan Submarine Shore Test Facility.

Initial growth came through the award of contracts at Nuclear sites across the UK.

JGC now work/supply within the Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Utilities and Renewable Sectors throughout the UK and abroad.

Currently employing 150 people.

Company Overview Management team consists of professional /chartered

engineers in mechanical, electrical & instrumentation disciplines.

Trade staff include mechanical fitters, pipe fitters, welders, fabricators, machinists, inspectors, electricians, instrument technicians and support trades such as riggers, scaffolders, painters, etc.

Technical staff consist of project engineers, design draughtsmen, and technical authors.

JGC are an ISO9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 Approved Company with all assessments undertaken by BSI.

We are Members of the British Safety Council investing heavily in Health and Safety Training of our employees and recently we were awarded for the 15th consecutive year the British Safety Council International Safety Award.
