By Baptism: For one who has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and desires to obey
Christ by being baptized by immersion.
By Letter: For one who is saved, has been baptized by immersion after being saved
and is a member in good standing of another Baptist church.
By Statement: For one who has been saved and baptized by immersion after being
saved, but is not a member of another Baptist church.
Come forward during the invitation at the end of the worship service and tell the pastor
that you want to become a member of FBCG, and we will take care of the rest.

Ladies Retreat
FBC Ladies Retreat , Living Deeper with Jena Forehand, www.jenaforehand.com , will be held at Goose Pond Colony, 417 Ed Hembree Drive, Scottsboro, AL 35769, August 25th -27th 2017. Lodge rooms and cottages are available, however, if you would like to attend but do not wish to stay the night you are welcome! Space is limited. Sign-up forms available in the church office and classrooms. We still have spaces available, the retreat is currently open to all ladies who would like to attend. Please turn forms into Cindy Glassco, Jean Ann Scott, Belinda Stricklin, or Regina Lee.
Anchored Adventures Preschool
We are currently taking enrollments for the 2017-2018 school year. Preschool is open to children ages 1-4.
We are also taking applications for teachers and assistants. Please email resumes.

The Sanctuary flowers are placed in celebration of
Buddy and Nancy Bunch’s 43rd Wedding Anniversary
on May 31.
May 31st—*Date change!* Preschool water night at FBC, 5:30-6:30pm.
This is for preschoolers that have not yet started school.
June 7th—Spring Valley Beach Family Day. Come and go as you please.
The church will have a pavilion rented for our group.
June 12th-16th—Centri-kid Camp. Grades 3– 5 (registration is closed).
June 25th-28th—Vacation Bible School. Ages 3 yrs—5th grade.
July 10th-11th—Camp Iwannago, Ages K-2nd grade, 9:00am—2:00pm.
August 2nd—Pool party at the Guntersville Rec Center. Family night for
all ages. Time TBA.
The church office will be
closed tomorrow, May 29, in
observance of Memorial Day.
Deacon Nominations
Each church member may nominate TWO individuals to serve as
Deacon. These nominations should be turned into the church
office no later than June 15th.
Mature Adults
June 15— we will go to Barry’s BBQ in Fyffe for lunch. We will let you
know what time to leave at a later date. Plan to go with us.
