Do you need a visa?- If you are a citizen from the European Union or from Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Monaco or Andorra:You don’t need to apply for a VISA.

- If you come to study in France for less than 90 days and you are a citizen from : Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Barbados,, Brésil, Brunei, Canada, Chili, South Corea, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Israël, Japan, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mauritius Mexico, Montenegro, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Vatican, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Uruguay and Venezuela :You don’t need to apply for a VISA.

- If you come to study in France for more than 90 days, you need to apply for a « Visa Long Séjour valant Titre de Séjour » (Long Stay Visa / Resident permit) within a

period of 90 days after your first arrival date.

5th step: submitting the documents

During your « Welcome Day » if you live on the campus or in the Yvelines (78) and Hauts-de-Seine (92) districts:

Fill out your OFII form and sign it.

Make 2 copies of your completed and signed Demande d’attestation OFII, of your D VISA, of your airport stamp and the ID page of your passport.

6th step: The validation of your VLS/TS and the medical examination.

1. Your resident permit contact in HEC, Ms Agnès Tourneix, will send your application and your documents to the OFII (Office Français de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration) of Montrouge.

2. Ms Agnès Tourneix will email you your confirmation of receipt and and your ‘notice to appear’ for the OFII (5 pages) and your itinary for the OFII.

You may have had your medical examination in an OFII center in your home country. In this case, bring your medical certificate with you when you visit the OFII in France.

7th step: In the Office français de l’Immigration et de Intégration (OFII) of Montrouge.

Please respect your date and time of appointment. Don’t be late.

You will be given a chest x-ray.

And general medical examination.

What should you bring with you at your appointment?

1. Your 5 page ‘notice to appear’ letter.

2.Your passport.

3. One recent ID photographs (with nothing obscuring the face.The frame size must be 35 mm wide and 45 mm high. The entire face must be uncovered with both eyes visible. Glasses are not permitted. The photograph must be in colour.)

Proof of residence.4.

6.Your proof of payment (OFII Tax), student VLS-TS bought on line: https://www.timbresofii.fr/

5. Your OFII medical certificate, if applicable (see page 12).

Once all the formalities are completed, the OFII will place the sticker below on your passport:
