Since its establishment (in 1923) IEC (Israel Electric Corporation)

has been developed from 99 MW (installed capacity), with 200,000

customers (in 1950) up to over 14,000 MW (installed capacity), with

2,600,000 customers (in 2012)

Training experience with external customers

- IEC’s Training Center earned itself an outstanding reputation and

is recognized as an authority in a large scale of technical &

management training throughout the Israeli community. Between

our customers: IDF, Rafael, Israel chemical industry, Mekorot

- IEC’s Training Center earned it’s reputation abroad, while running

courses for JPSCo (Jamaica) , for NAPTIN (Nigeria) in Israel and

in abroad .

- In the last year Participants from Cameron, Namibia, South Africa,

Swaziland, Angola, Kenya & Zambia have been trained in our

Training Center.

countries with different cultures !

Comprehensive Instruction & Training Reply

Since the Training Center is an integral part of the IEC with head

office located inside IEC’s headquarters, we are able to bring with

us:

- Training in multi-sectors such as long term planning, design,

construction, operation and maintenance of the Electrical chain

(Generation, Transmission, Distribution & Customer Energy Supply)

- Training in a large scale of equipment with a different technology

suppliers for all the matters in the Electrical chain.

- The training is based on trainers, either from the training field or

from the daily IEC’s units employees. In this way we can offer a

combination of the training skills with the practical updated

experience.

The training is backed-up by experience and

recourses of more than 7.7 Billion USD !

Capability of “tailor – maid” Training

Because of the unique Israel political situation and its

Needs for independence, we have developed and still

maintain our own methods of training.

Over the years the Training Center has developed “tailor-maid”

training for in-house needs and we are willing to share this

valuable knowledge with our customers.

We are ready to assist our customers, to build their own training

capabilities either in their home countries or here in Israel.

IEC’s training uniqueness (1)

As Israel is a political island, IEC has the knowledge

of the “electrical island behavior” and the Training

Center, has the possibility to train it.

As a multicultural immigrant based society, we are ableto provide

training service in a wide variety of languages, while adapting our

programs and techniques for maximum effectiveness across the

culture differences.

IEC is a great company but we still understand the meaning of being

a small one. This understanding gives us a “relative advantage”

while competing with other training centers.

Since IEC is the only Electrical Energy Supplier in Israel, with

own setting in the country and with undergoing rapid economic

growth, means that we really understand the unique position and

needs of the organization in a developing countries.
