The film, rated PG, will be shown in the MCC Auditorium. Come early for food, fun and fellowship. Members of the Jr. and Sr. high youth group will sell popcorn and other refreshments. Proceeds will benefit the teens’ summer trips to CIY. Grab your friends and family to get a few fun photos taken at Mark Kesel’s photo booth. Don’t forget to ham up your photos with his wide selection of accessories. Child care will be provided for kindergartners and younger. WOODLAWN SYNOPSIS: Tony Nathan lands in a powder keg of anger and violence when he joins fellow African-American students at Woodlawn High School after its government-mandated desegregation in 1973. The Woodlawn Colonels football team is a microcosm of the problems at the school and in the city, which erupts in cross burnings and riots, and Coach Tandy Gerelds is at a loss to solve these unprecedented challenges with his disciplinarian ways. SUMMER CAMP SIGN UP The camp pre-registration focus begins this week and continues throug April 17. If you sign your kids up during these two weeks, your child will receive a candy bar at sign up, and his/her name will be entered in a drawing for a free camp.
