Evening Program

Unmasking the Masquerade

Tonight, we get to have a bit of fun, hiding behind our masks and en-joying the company of friends and neighbors, while possibly holding a little intrigue! We get to live in our imaginations just a bit, and possibly try on a new role. Here at OLG, we strive to hold a place of wonder for our students, to try new things, and to find our role in life. At times we find ourselves simply “playing a part” for peers, for teachers, or even with parents. But Christ calls us to authenticity. Our fabulous teachers and staff help students grow in the light of Christ by serving one another while discovering ourselves and our place in the world. Our “Raise the Paddle” fund-a-need focuses on the authentic: refreshing our science curriculum to help us know our world a little better. From Pope Francis (a scientist himself), to our fabulous teaching staff, we are committed to finding our authentic role in the world.

You can help tonight with your presence and support this evening!

We have had many amazing OLG families enacting their roles in putting this evening together. Allow me to unmask a few humble folks who might prefer to stay incognito:

Special thanks goes to Sandra Watson and her amazing volunteer team. They worked many hours to put this evening together; without their collective contribution, this event wouldn’t have the life and energy you see here tonight. As you discover them behind their masks tonight, give them a special thank you!

Over the past two years we’ve also been blessed with the hard work and guidance of Kat Cirar from The Extra Ingredient. She’s helped bring our auction back on our campus with expertise and inspiration. Thank you!

Thank you for your investment this evening. You are OLG and you continually strengthen our Guadalupe community with your actions ... for that we are ever so grateful!

With Gratitude,

Fr. Jack Walmesley, Pastor Anton Kramer, Principal
