Philosophy About the Teaching of Math

•Taking risks leads to learning

• Everyone is encouraged to reach their potential

•Different students have different potentials in math

• Math learning is influenced by developmental parameters

• Active participation positively influences learning

My ExpectationsStudents will:

* Come to class ready to learn

* Come to class on time, prepared with materials

* Actively participate in class lessons

* Practice at home the assignments they are given

* Ask for help when they need it

Parents will:

* Using the planner, check to see completed homework

* Communicate with me if concerns arise
