This is your new tablet! This is what we use to complete our calls as well as access our POGs and visit
instructions.
This will bring up a list of available WiFi networks. It is VERY helpful to have WiFi at home, although you can connect at
places such as McDonald’s and Starbucks.
Click onto your network. There have been problems using a secure network to connect, so if you do use an unsecure
network, realize any personal information can be accessed by others.
However, you can choose to write instead of type. To do this, click on the top icon of the keyboard. The writing pad will pop
up. This allows you to write responses.
Once connected, your calls will appear. The left column is the list of stores in which you have calls.
The middle column shows the date the calls are due. The right column shows exactly what calls are in the highlighted store.
We will go into the exact details of a call report in our face-to-face training. Before we can train, though, we will need
to also download our DMS.
Our DMS, or Document Management System, stores needed call information such as POGs (Plan-o-grams), SVIs (Store Visit Instructions), return information, and
much more. It is a great tool for the reps out in the field and saves time and money as we no longer have to print
this information and bring it with us to the store.
WARNING!Your initial download of the DMS will take 2-3 hours.
Ensure you are using your wall charger while downloading because if your battery dies (and it
probably will) your progress will be lost. It is also a good idea to be on a wireless home network as often times, public WiFi does not work the best with our
system.
After the initial download, DMS download times are usually cut to 20-30 min a week.
Once downloaded, click on the Impact link. Your IFL (Impact Focus List) and Project Information will show up.
Success!!
You have downloaded the necessary information to complete your face-to-face training calls! This concludes your tablet tutorial and I
look forward to training you soon!
