Welcome to my guide on how to defeat Zenonia 2, from start...

Welcome to my guide on how to defeat Zenonia 2, from start to finish. In this guide, I’ll show you every single place to go, up until you defeat the last boss.

There are many pictures included.

Now, when you first start out, there will be a huge intro. It will be different, depending on each character.

You will start out in a dungeon, it is very easy. You just kill a few monsters, and keep on going up. The second portal, go left, and then up. The last portal, you go up and you’re in town.

I suggest you get to at least level 3 in the dungeon.

Now, after the huge intro, you must talk to a girl named Karen. You should see a question mark on the map, and that is her location. She will make you bring a huge box to the blacksmith. The black smith’s house is the bottom left of town.

Now, finish the quest, and he will want you to collect Iron.

Now, go to the right portal, but you should see an old man right next to the portal with an exclamation mark on the top of his head. Start the quest. Now go to the house top left of the map.

Once you finish the quest, go back and head east of Deva Castle.

The quest wants you to get Iron, so you must find one of those blue crystals. Go up to any crystal you find, and press the action button (The action button is the attack button, on the bottom right of the screen), and you should see your character mining for Iron. You automatically get a hoe, so you don’t have to worry about buying one. If you don’t find 5 Irons from that crystal, don’t worry, there are many other crystals. I will show you a few crystal locations in the pictures below:

Note: Doing the Mining Glitch helps. By doing this, you must hit the crystal 10 times, take a step back, hit the crystal another 10 times, rinse and repeat. This will make so that the crystal will never break, unless you hit it 11 times.

Once you are done the quest, go visit the blacksmith to complete the quest.

Now, finish the quest and start Amos’s quest.

Once you start it, go start the two side-quests in town.

Go into the item shop.

Buy the two items you see in the pictures.

Once done, return to the NPCs and finish the two side-quests.

Now, we start the main quest. We must kill 15 Mukakas.

Mukakas can be found in 3 portals from town, or see in the picture below:

Once done, go to Amos.

Go start his quest, he will want you to go to the town of fairies, Iris.

Go to town, and in the middle of town, there will be a side quest, see in the picture below:

Now, keep on going through the right portal, past the Mukakas, until you see a boy.

The boy will want you to collect Linen Cloths. You can kill the monsters in this portal, and they will drop them.

In the next portal, you will save a girl named Monica. You will bring her to the town of Iris, you see your character battle two monsters to save her in the cut-scene, so you don’t really do anything, and you “carry her” (your weight does not change, nothing changes, you can’t even see her) to the town of Iris.

Once you’re in the town, you must go to the top-left house, see in the picture below:

Now, you must save Lepe for the quest, but before you do that, go to the top right corner and talk to Hot Dog’s owner.

Start her 2nd quest which is going to town and telling Hot-Dog her owner is in town.

Now, go to the portal left of town

And now go up from here.

Now fight the monsters and save Lepe

(I am so sorry for that huge message in the middle of the picture, it’s a glitch and an app that I have, I got it from Cydia.)

If you want to finish Hot-Dog’s quest, go back to Deva town, if you’re lazy, go talk to Monica and finish the quest, if you have a lot of gold, teleport to Deva town using 500 gold. But you probably don’t have very much gold at a low level. I walked to Deva town.

Once you finish Hot-Dog’s quest, you will get this bread that you give to the Poet in the town.

Once you are done that quest, go back to Monica’s house (top left of town)

Start the quest, and go North of Iris.

Collect the Teleport Scroll in the chest.

For this quest, you must mine crystals, you must do the exact same thing like in the quest when you were getting Iron.

Go to any crystal you see, press the action button, and keep on mining until you get 5 Snow Flower Herbs. If the crystal runs out, find another one, or restart the game, or use the mining glitch. You can buy a hoe from the item store, but you

should already have one.

Once done this quest, return to Monica in Iris town.

Now we must go to the Highlands and examine the problems. Go North of Iris, again.

Now go into this portal.

And now collect the treasure chest that contains a bone.

Go back to Monica.

Monica wants you to start a quest to examine the Frosty Dungeon. Go back to North Iris, where you got the bone.

For this part, you can either get the chest that contains an Expert Ring, or you just skip the ring and go up. I went to get the ring. This is how you get the chest:

You must report back to Monica, now. Many people think you just walk in the dungeon, but you must talk to Monica first.

Once you start Monica’s quest, go to the Frosty Dungeon.

Now, I will give you instructions on how to complete the Frosty Dungeon. This does not mean you just follow my exact steps and skip through monsters. The levels to fight Rex is 18-22, I strongly suggest you do level 20. Keep on grinding at maps with monsters that don’t do too much damage at low level, but when level 16-18, grind at the map before you fight Rex. Rex is Frosty Cave’s boss.

Now, you should be in the entrance at Frosty Cave.

Go take a right. Now go just straight up and you should be at the second portal.

Take a left. Keep going until you reach the stairs. Now obviously, go up the stairs. Keep going up until you hit the wall.

Then, keep taking a right until you hit the wall.

Now, go up and break the ice blocks. Once you have broken them all, keep going up until you hit the wall. Take a left.

Keep going left till you see the stairs.

Go down the stairs. Once down all the stairs, take a left and you should be at the next portal.

Once in the new portal, go up. Once you hit the wall at the very top, keep going left until you see the portal. Once in the next portal, keep going up until you hit the wall

Now take a right until you see the stairs. Go up the stairs.

Now take a left until you hit the wall.

Now go down and collect the item in the chest.

Now go back to the stairs.

Now go left, until you reach the bridge which is like 3 steps, and now you’re under the bridge and going up so you’re passing under the bridge now.

Now take a right and go into the portal.

Now, keep going right until you hit the wall.

And then go up and go into the portal.

Now keep going up till you see an area looking like this.

Now break the blocks and keep on going right. Now go into the portal.

Now keep going right until you see the stairs (it should be like 10 steps or so)

Now, keep going right until you see these stairs and go up them and then go right again.

Now, go down the bridge you see.

Now, take a left.

Now, go down the stairs.

Keep going right until you see the portal. Now go in the portal.

Keep going down until you hit the wall and then go right, until you hit the wall, and then go up into the portal.

Go up until you hit the wall, then go right. Then go down the stairs.

Now go right, and then up, and then slightly left so you go up the stairs.

Take a right, then go down, then go right, into the portal.

Now, go down the stairs, and take a right, till you hit a wall, then go up into the stairs.

Go up the stairs you see in the picture below:

Now, take a left.

Now, go down.

Now, go up, into the portal, which is the boss room. I suggest you get to level 20 before you fight him, for the new skills. The average levels are 18-22, no more lower than 18. Fighting him at 21 would be nice, because once you’re done grinding, you should get a new weapon. So, I suggest you get to at least 20, 18 or 19 if you’re lazy, and 21 or 22 if you want to have an easy fight. Keep grinding in the map before the boss.

Once you are level 18-22, go into the boss room.

Now, to defeat Lex, you must first keep running around left and right until he throws his head at you, and then go up to his head and keep attacking it. Repeat this method.

Once you’ve defeated him, use a teleport scroll to Iris.

Go talk to Monica and finish the quest.

Now, go in the Inn.

Now, go up in the second floor.

Now, talk to the weapon merchant in Iris and he will bring you to the potion shop, then the blacksmith.

Now, you must go to the house on the very right, close to East Iris.

Go in, talk to Lindaman. Start the quest. Once you see the thief run away, go back and talk to Monica in town.

Now, go to South Iris to stop the Orcs.

Once you have killed 15 Orcs, report back to Monica.

Now, go to the house east of the Inn.

Start the quest, and now go South Iris.

Now, go to the bottom right of the map, and you should be at the next portal.

Now, for the next 2 portals, keep going down.

Now, go into the bottom left portal.

Now, go into the left portal. The book is in a chest.

Now, walk back to Iris or use a town scroll.

Go back and talk to Terry.

Now, we must go to the Golden Temple.

First, go South of Iris.

Keep on going to the map where the girl was getting attacked, but instead of going left, you go right this time.

(Yes, I did just change my character from Lu, to Daza)

Now, obviously talk to the NPC in the map and the Golden Temple will be open.

Golden Temple Portal 1

Once you’re in the temple, keep on going up and you will go into the second portal.


Keep going up, until you see a row of spikes on the right, and a little place to the left. Go left, and you will see that you need to move the block down to activate the switch so the spikes will be gone. Obviously, push the block. It will tell you a little path.

Once you have gotten past the trap, keep going down.

You will see boxes, destroy the ones you can, and move the middle silver block down all the way, and leave all the other silver blocks there. Go right, and go into the portal.


Keep on going right, and then you will hit a wall. Go a few steps down, and you will see the portal. But, there is an Examine Scroll in this map. If you don’t want it, skip it, if you want it, follow these steps:

Go right until you see this little square thingy

Then go up, and you will go up stairs. You will take a right, until you hit the wall, then go down, then go all the way right. Take 3 steps up, and you’re at the chest.


Now, take the left portal, and then go up again, into the portal you just came through. You’re in a different map, now. Push the block onto the switch, and you will see another block appear in a different map.

Now, go into the right portal. You’re back at the entrance. Now, go into the right portal, instead of the left. Go back into the portal you just went through, just like

how you did with the left portal. You’re in the map where you must now push the block into the switch.

Now, go onto the moving block. But don’t worry, you can’t fall off of it.

Obviously, take the item in the chest. It’s a Tiger Ball. Langue wanted the item in one of her quests.

Push the switch, and then go into the next portal.


Go right, across the bridge.


Keep going right, until you hit the wall. Now go up, across the bridge.

Once you’ve crossed the bridge, go left, and then go up a bit, to the next portal.

Golden Temple 8

Go left.

Go down the path, where my character is standing, as you can see in the picture above.

You now have another Tiger Ball.

Go back up, obviously.

Now, there are a set of stairs leading up, and another one leading down. The one up is pointless, it has nothing, so go down the stairs. You can see, there is a little hole in the wall, very close to the stairs that leads down. In that hole, you cannot attack, but monsters cannot attack you. So you can slowly regain your health + energy if you want.

Now, keep on going right, you will see a portal, go in it.

The way that leads up is where the boss room is, but you need a key to get it, so do not go in there, yet.


Take a right, there is a Tiger Ball in the chest.

Now, go up into the portal where you just came from.


Go all the way up, and collect the 4th Tiger Ball.

Now, take a left into the next portal.


Keep on taking a right, and you will see statues, and then a portal. Do not go into the portal, yet. Go down, and then left, and now you will see a chest. In the chest is the Gold Key.

Now, go to the top right portal.


Go to the bottom right portal.


Go into the portal you just came from.


Go into the top left portal.


Keep on going up, until you see the chest. Open the chest. There is your last Tiger Ball. ;)

Now, keep on going up, and you will be at the very top. Just press the action button, and it will unlock the lock.

Before you go in there, I recommend you fight the boss at 30, so grind till 30, if I were you.

Remember to use Two-Way portals if you’re low on potions, or if you want to buy new weapons/armor.

Now, the boss starts out with two statues. There is another part to the boss. Since the statues hit a lot of damage, you should use your skills, and hit and run, if you’re Daza and Lu because your attacks are close ranged. If you’re Ecne or Morpice, try and keep your range and keep on attacking him from distance, if you’re Daza or Lu, attack him a few times, and then run away, use a potion, go back, attack him, run away, rinse and repeat.

That is what Hit and Run is. Do not just stand next to him and attack him, or you will die.

You will probably die a few times, but don’t worry using Origins of Life will heal your SP and skill cool down back to normal, so you can keep on using your good skill(s).

If I were you, I’d concentrate on killing one of them first, because it’s hard to kill two.

If you die, it’s good to die next to both of them, because you have a few seconds of spawn protection to use your good skills, so you hit them both, without even getting hit.

Once you kill them both, good job! You now have to kill the real thing.

Try and avoid the 3 black ball thingies, He also teleports, and spawns monsters, the monsters may seem bad, but it can spawn 5 of them, and they get really annoying, and in the way.

Once you defeat him, good job! Now go talk to the gem.

Use a town scroll back to Iris, and talk to Monica. But you actually have to talk to Karin instead, because Monica is gone.

You must now go to Barpore Town, located at Laka Ruin.

Remember the portal where you save Karen, and the left portal brings you to the Golden Book, the right portal brings you to the Golden Maze? Well go into the

Left portal, and then go down to the bottom right portal, near where the chest was that had the book in it.

Go into the portal that’s down.

Now, go right into the portal.

Keep on going right, until you see the stairs, the stairs was hard for me to see, so here’s a picture:

Now, go up the next set of stairs, it should be a few steps to the right of the set of stairs you just went up.

Now, keep going right until you see the stairs, and then go up them. Now, keep on going all the way left, until you see the next set of stairs, and then go up them. You must now use the pipe to cross.

Walk up to the pipe to go up it, like how you went up hills a while back.

And then go right, into the next portal.

Now, go slightly up, and then right into the next portal.

Now, you’re in the Town of Barpore. You can now buy potions, repair armor, etc. Once you are ready, go back and look for the others (Morpice, Daza, Lu, and Ecne).

Go back to the portal you just came from, and keep on going back to the portal where the others were. Once you go there, you must go back to town.

Once you’re in town, go into the Inn. The Inn is at the top right of the map.

Now, go to the Blacksmith, and repair all of your items, buy potions, etc.

Now, go to the top left portal, there is a house, the Chief of the Town’s house.

Now, go to the very right portal, into the dungeon.

Now, keep on going right until you hit the wall, then up, into the portal.

Barpore Dungeon Portal 1

Keep on going down, then right, until you hit the wall, and then go up the stairs.

Now, go left, across the pipe.

Now, keep going left, and a bit up, then go across the pipe.

Go into the next portal.

Barpore Dungeon Portal 2

Keep going left till you see stairs, then go up all the way, until you see the door. Press the action button to open it.

Now, you must go back to town. Either teleport, or walk, the walk isn’t that far. It is also smart to use a two-way portal, because you must go back.

Now, go back to Barpore Dungeon 2. Obviously, go back to where the door was, at the very top.

1st Laboratory

Keep on going up, and then take a right, through the hall way, it leads to the second portal.

2nd Laboratory

I suggest taking the bottom escalator, and once you pass it, go into the next portal.

3rd Laboratory

Keep going right, and then you will see a room with these machines that has green stuff in them. Walking past a few will make a few things come out, and you can kill them. You don’t have to though.

Once you’re in the place where all the monsters are, go up into the next portal.

4th Laboratory

Keep going up, till you hit the wall, then go left.

Open the door and go into the next portal.

Go back to the 3rd Laboratory.

3rd Laboratory

Go to the portal that’s on the left side.

6th Laboratory

Keep going through the escalators, then go into the next portal.

7th Laboratory

I leveled to 34 before fighting the boss is in the 7th room.

Boss Fight

Now, Sonian has an attack that he rushes forward, and hits you a bunch of time, it does TONS of damage, so be careful, try and use Hit and Run.

Now, go take the portal that leads up, into the Volcano.

Now, go to the top portal.

Volcano Entrance

Go up, and into the portal.

Teradore Area 1

You now must go up, to the top of the stairs, go right, and open the chest.

Now, get off of the platform, and go back to the ground. Now keep on going up, until you see stairs.

Keep going up, into the next portal.

Teradore Area 2

Now, you must kill those things that are on fire, but watch out, standing next to one makes so that they blow up, so you have to keep a bit of a distance between them, once you kill them, they sometimes drop Orb Pieces, but not always. Since they have such low HP, using one of your skills should kill them in 1 hit, unless that skill is weak. It may be hard for Lu to kill these guys without skills, Dazas are a bit hard, but they attack fast, so you can sometimes kill them without skills. For Ecne and Morpice, it’ll be easy.

Once you’ve collected all the orb pieces, return to the Chief of town.

Now, you must go and talk to the Blacksmith so you get an item which makes so that you can withstand the heat. Don’t worry, the item is not an equip, and the effect already takes place because it’s in your inventory.

Now, you must go to Teradore Area 1 again.

Teradore Area 1

Instead of going to the top portal, go to the top left portal.

Teradore Area 3

The very top left of the map has a chest.

Then, a little bit to the left, there is a set of stairs. Go down them. Keep on going down, and you’ll go into the next portal.

Teradore Area 4

Keep on going down, until you see a sign.

Once you read the sign, go back to where the portal was, but do not go in it. Go across the path you see in the picture below, because at the end of the path, there is a treasure chest.

Now, go to the bottom left of the map, that is where the portal is.

Crusis Volcano 1

Now, keep on taking a left, until you hit the wall.

Now, go down, until you hit the wall, than keep on going right, until you see the chest.

Now, keep going down until you hit the wall, then go left, until you see the stairs.

Now go in the portal.

Crusis Volcano 2

Keep on going down, going left just leaves to a dead end.

Once you reach the bottom,

Go left, until you hit the wall.

Your character should be in the area in the picture below.

Now, go down, into the next portal.

Crusis Volcano 3

Now, go on the block on the right side. You can hold the down key, because you cannot step on the lava, no matter how hard you try. Just keep on holding down, until you hit the last block, and the block is moving to the ground on the left side. Obviously, hold left now.

Now, go on the block near the top left.

Now, keep on holding down, until you reach the second block.

Now go on the platform, and wait for the block that’s moving down to come to you, than go on it.

Keep holding down, until you go on the block that doesn’t move, than hold down right, until you go on the right block. Now, keep holding down. You should now move on the last block that moves fast.

Now, obviously go left, and then go into the portal.

Crusis Volcano 4

Keep on going up, until you hit the wall, than go left, until you see the bridge, then go down it, now take a left. Now keep on going up, into the next portal.

Volcanic Dungeon

Just talk to Lisa.

Boss Fight

You should fight the boss around level 50.

Watch out for his flames, try to dodge them, they do a ton of damage.

Try to do the Hit and Run technique.

If you die from him, use all of your main attacks right away, Bereren doesn’t have very much HP, so if you die, use your skill points, it’s okay if you die 3 times, because using all your skills will kill him faster than running around.

Once you defeat him, you’re back at town. Use the town portal to go back to Deva Castle.

Now, go talk to Karen.

Now, Zavkiel is evil, and you must kill 8 of the Mummies. Luckily, The Riddle Man helps you.

Me, and many others believe The Riddle Man is Regret, the main character from Zenonia 1.

Revival Dungeon 1

The portal is near the top right.

Revival Dungeon 2

Now, watch out for the rollers, they 1 hit you. As they move, you should see a little black hole in the wall. Go in the hole, and wait for the roller to go on the other side, then go past the roller.

Now, go past the purple thingy.

Keep going up past those pots. Then take a left to go past the other pot.

Now keep going left, until you see the portal, then go in it.

Revival Dungeon 3

First of all, go left, until you hit the wall. Now go up, until you hit the wall, than go right, until you are near this area, in the picture below:

Now, keep on going down, until you see a block. Push the block over the switch, so it makes the rollers disappear.

Now, go back to where the portal was. Instead of going left, go right, and go up the stairs. Then keep on going through the hallway, where the rollers were, and go to the top and get the chest. Now push the block over the switch. Go back to where you had to push the first block, and where the picture was above, and to the right, there is a portal.

Revival Dungeon 4

Go through the middle roller, but you see a hole in the wall. Go in the hole, before the roller hits you. Wait for it to go to the other side, obviously, and then go to the other side. Keep on going right, past the roller, do the same thing as the others, then keep going right into the next portal.

Revival Dungeon 5

Continue going right, and then slightly go up, across the pots you see in the picture below:

Now, keep on going right.

Revival Dungeon 8

This place is pretty good to train at. The very top middle is where the portal is.

Revival Dungeon 9

Now, you must kill 8 of those monsters. They are pretty easy and decent EXP, but they do not respawn once you kill all of them.

If there are no more monsters for you to kill, but you need to kill a few more, just exit the portal, and then re-enter it again.

Once you pass the wall, keep going up into the next portal.

This map is also good to train at, by going to the top portal, and then entering it again, go to where all the monsters are, use your AoE skill (AoE = Area of Effect, and your level 40 skill is your AoE skill)

You could get to level 48-50 by doing this.

Revival Dungeon 10

Keep on going up, until you hit the wall, than go left.

Keep going left, until you hit the wall, then go down, until you hit the wall, then right, then go down when you are in the area in the picture you see below:

Once you’re at the bottom, go left, and then enter the next portal.

Revival Dungeon 11

Keep on going left, till you hit the wall, then go up.

Push the block over the switch.

Now go back to the portal.

Now, climb up the stairs you see in the picture.

Now, keep on going up, don’t even bother pushing the block over the switch. Enter the portal.

Boss Battle

Before you fight him, I suggest getting to level 50.

Zavkiel has clones, but his clones only have around 1k HP, so it’s easy to tell who the real one is. Like all other bosses, you use the hit and run technique.

Just try to avoid his green orb things that he throws at you.

He shouldn’t be too hard, just try to stay away from him, use your skills, and avoid his green things.

After you kill him, talk to Zealous.

Now, go to The Town of Iris.

Once you’re there, go into the Inn.

Now, the “Riddle Man” will be there. I’m pretty sure it’s actually Regret.

Now, proof that it is Regret is when he says “I’ve seen this bloody skyline before. It was like this when Ladon first entered the world”. In Zenonia 1, it was just like what the Riddle Man said when Ladon was first awakened.

Now, go see Monica.

Now, go East of Iris to find the sky portal.

East Iris 1

Go to the top left of the map to collect the Examine Scroll.

After you have it, just go to the very right of the map and go into the next portal.

East Iris 2

Go right, into the next portal.

Sky Portal

Go to the right, and talk to the sign.

Now you’re in Coelraum, aka Heaven Town.

Go to the very top left house.

Now, go to the middle of the map, and talk to the Sky Official.

Now, go to the top right map to collect 15 crystals, for the portal.

Sky Portal 1

Now, the top right portal is where the golems are. You must kill many golems, and the golems drop the items. But they don’t always, and the items are rare, so expect to be for a while, because it took me about 15-30mins to collect 15 crystals.

Sky Portal 3 (Go here to collect Crystals, the top right map of Sky Portal 1)

Kill the golems in this map.

Sky Portal 2 (The very top middle map of Sky Portal 1)

This map has Golems, but the spawn isn’t as good as Sky Portal 3. But at the very top middle of the map, there is a chest. In the chest contains one two-way portal. This costs 2k from the Network Gal.

Once you have all the crystals, head back to town, and talk to the Sky Official.

Now, you must go see Merhen. She is at the very top left house.

Now, once you start her quest, go inside the tree in the middle of town.

Demon Kings Castle 1F

Keep going up the stairs, and you should be at the area in the picture below:

Now, keep on going right, and you will be at the next portal.

Demons Castle 2F

Keep on going right, until you hit the wall.

Now, keep on going up, into the next portal.

Demons Castle 3F

Keep on going all the way up, and you should enter the next portal.

Demons Castle 5F

Keep on going up, until you see an NPC called “Strange Equipment”

Now, you must hunt 8 Devil Golems.

Once you defeat them, you will spawn right next to the boss room, fighting the last boss.

Boss Battle (Finally, the last boss in the game)

I suggest VSing Ladon around level 55. I fought him at 54.

In order to defeat Ladon, you must wait for him to attack, and in the middle of his chest, a red eye opens. You must attack the eye.

As you can see in the picture, he has a red eye on his chest. Using your strongest moves on the eye will easy defeat him. In my opinion, Ladon is very easy.

And remember, if you have very low SP and cannot use any skills, just kill yourself, you’ll respawn with full SP and all your skills are already recharged.

After you defeat Ladon, talk to Monica.

And now, you have just defeated Zenonia 2 Normal Mode. Congratulations!

But what the heck…you started out in the basement when you first played the game?

But, do not worry, that’s part of the story, remember when you went back in time? Well, at the end of Hard Mode, you will fight another boss.

I will update this guide and tell you how to defeat the boss, once I beat hard mode.

Now, before I end this guide, I will tell you a few things.

You just started out like in the beginning of the game, but the monsters are level 55 in the beginning, you have the exact same equips, you did not lose ANYTHING, but you can find better items, including unique items. What’s that? That’s an item that can give amazing bonuses like +30% SP absorb, +30% HP absorb, +1 Movement speed, godly items like that, that you normally cannot get.

Note: Playing Hard Mode is the exact same thing as normal mode, except for the very end, so you can use this whole guide and it will be EXACTLY the same as when you play hard mode, because nothing changes in hard mode. The only thing that will be different is that at the very end, there is an extra boss, but I will update this guide once I get up to that point. So do not worry about getting stuck, just use this guide if you are stuck, again.

Now, thank you for reading my guide, I really hoped this helped you, but this is obviously the end of it.

I will probably make another guide with all the info on all side quests, like what to do to complete it, the reward, etc, and I will make a Skill Calc on Daza, and possibly on other characters.

And I will update this guide to tell you what level is good enough to fight the bosses in Hard Mode.

I don’t really know how to end this, so I’ll just say bye.
