We understand that organising a memorial in memory of a loved one can be a very difficult task.
Although many find having a memorial for their loved one a comfort and a place to remember
them, we understand how difficult the decision making can be.
Our aim is to provide you with a memorial of the highest quality material and workmanship for your
loved one. Our trained and experienced staff can help advise you on your choice of memorial and
can provide you with inscription ideas if needed.
Within our brochure, we have a selection of granite and marble memorials; when looking through
the brochure it is important to remember that any shape and design is interchangeable and all our
memorials can be tailor made to your specification. We can design something completely bespoke
should there be something you require that is not in our brochure.
All of our memorials are fitted to guidelines laid down by the national association of memorial
masons and cemetery regulations.
We have a range of lettering styles and can advise you on your inscription choice, should you
require any help we can put together personalised suggested inscriptions for you to choose from.
We offer home visits where one of our team can come and discuss the memorial with yourself and
your family in the comfort of your own home or you can come into any of our offices; it is advisable
to make an appointment if possible.
We also offer a selection of memorials which can be paid for with our payment scheme. If you
would like any information on these please let us know.

Hickton Stonemasonry works closely with
STONEGUARD memorial insurance to provide you with
peace of mind after the purchase of your loved ones
memorial. Cover lasts for 5 years and premiums vary by
purchase value. An example would be one of our
’Classic Collection’ stones the premium would be
£92.00 for 5 years cover.
This would cover you for accidental damage to the
memorial including (but not restricted to):
Subsidence
Vandalism
Theft or attempted theft
Impact damage caused by Falling Tree, Fence,
Vehicle, Lawn Mower etc...
Storm damage
Please ask for further details.

choose specific elements of the memorial at no
extra cost.
The kerbset is shown as standard: this can be with
or without the design and the end kerb can be
chosen from any of the pictures shown below.

Laser Etched Pictures
Any image or photograph can be laser etched onto a flat area of the stone to create a unique and
personalised memorial. Prices vary according to size of image. Below are just a few examples.

Memorial Base Stones
Base stones are generally interchangeable, so you can personalise your memorial
even more by changing the base stone shape and location of flower containers.
Adding a centre splayed panel (B11 below) will add an extra space for inscription.
Larger or more intricate bases and multiple flower containers will increase cost
slightly (Please ask for cost details).
