Our Church Family
Welcome to Park Church! This morning Dan Claus will present the message.
We will celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion in this last service of 2015. Eve-
ning worship will not be held today. Next Sunday morning we will recognize the start of
Epiphany, and communion will be served. Park Church is equipped with the Hearing Loop System. This system is compatible
with hearing aids that have a T Coil setting. If you do not have a compatible hearing
aid, please contact an usher for a receiver.
Join us following worship this morning for a time of fellowship and refreshments in the
Atrium.
Children’s Sunday Education through grade 9 will not meet today or next Sun-
day. They will resume on January 10.
Office Hours The church office will be closed this Thursday, December 31 and Fri-
day, January 1. Bulletin announcements should be given to the office by noon on
Tuesday, December 29, for the bulletin of January 3.
Vacation Pastor Doug will be on vacation this week. If needs arise please contact
your care circle elder or deacon.
Wednesday Dinners We are looking ahead to the winter schedule
for Wednesday evenings and January is next week! We are in need of help to coordi-
nate meals for these ministries on January 13, February 24, and March 9 and 23. If
you are willing to sign up to coordinate 1 (or more) of the 4 remaining Wednesdays, that
would be wonderful! Some ideas for dinners are pizza, taco salad, soup/chili, and
pasta, but if you have another idea, feel free to run with that. If you are part of a small
group and would like to do this with your group, that would be great too! Once the
dates have been filled with coordinators, a sign-up sheet will be available to volunteers
to sign-up to help. Please consider helping to make this ministry of outreach and fellow-
ship a success! Any questions, contact Dan Claus.
Harrington's Hope Care Closet The requested donations for the month of
December are paper towels and “Awesome” brand cleaner. January requested dona-
tions are laundry detergent and bleach. Items may be placed in or by the cabinet which
is located on the west side of the Atrium, near the Harrington’s Hope office and Music
Room.
Diaper Donations may be brought to church through this Thursday and placed on
the table by the Nursery.
