The challenging second nine at River’s Edge tends to offer wider
landing areas and increased length. Uphill second shot to elevated
green requires 1 more club.Favor left center of fairway with
1st and 2nd shots as ball will kick to the right. Pond on
right is 230 yards from gold tees.
Ideal shot is 240 yards down the middle of fairway. A fairway
bunker on the right is 250 yards away from the gold tees.
Layup to bunker from gold tees is 240 yards and 260 yards to carry the
bunker. Tee shot should be played left of bunker. Leave second shot below
hole.
Downhill shot to a deep green plays 1 club less. Lateral hazard left of
entire hole and long.
Favor right side off tee as ball will kick left. Approach shot
is uphill to elevated green requiring one more club.
Elevation change allows for a 2 club drop in club selection. Balls hit at tree left of green will kick right of the hill.
Play 1st and 2nd shots up right side of fairway. 3rd shot
is uphill requiring one more club. Trouble left of green!
Ideal shot is a 225 yard drive down the middle of fairway. Too far right and long
brings water into play at 250 yards.

Focus at 150 marker located at right side of fairway as ball will kick left. Carry from gold tee is
200 yards with drop.
200 yard drive down the left center will leave a short iron to
this uphill tiered green. Right of walking trail is lateral hazard.
Target line is large tree left of fairway bunker. Fairway bunker plays 220 yards
from Gold Tee/185 yards from White Tee, due to elevation.
Pin position may alter club selection due to depth of green.
Aim tee shot over fairway mounds. Layup second shot no
more than 235 yards to approach area. OB right of green.
Aim center of fairway. 200 yard drive from gold tee is the desired
distance as the water hazard on the left plays 225.
Observe hazards right and long on this 3 tiered green. Make conservative club
selection to relevant tier.
200 yard drive hit right of rock outcropping is ideal. Beware
of lateral hazard down the entire right side of fairway.
Aim to center of fairway off the tee (235 yards). Key to this hole is
conservative second shot down right side of fairway, setting up
approach to deep green.
