HOMEWORK POLICY

Daily expectations 30–40 minutes to an hour of homework every day, not including reading.

Students are responsible to have your signature every night on their binder reminder.

Homework expectations following an absence – for a one day absence, homework assignments are due the day after the student returns to school. For absences of more than a day, they will have the number of days missed to complete the homework.

Your child is expected to read for 20-30 minutes every night.

Page 5: Welcome to Room 6

HOMEWORK Every afternoon a student copies the

homework assignments for the day into the Teacher’s Homework binder.

All students will write their assignments in their binders.

If a student leaves school early or misses part of the assignment, it is their responsibility to get the assignment from the homework binder.
