Saint Brendan Voca on Commi ee! Bishop DiMarzio has proclaimed a special YEAR OF VOCATIONS beginning on August 4th, the Feast of Saint John Vianney.

In prepara on for this special year, we need to form a Parish Voca ons Commi ee to pray for, promote, iden fy, and encourage young people to consider a voca on to the priesthood, diaconate, or consecrated life. We need to form a team will-ing to encourage daily prayer for voca ons, make materials available and encourage our young people to ask themselves if they think God might be calling them to a life of service in the church. God never stops calling, we need to learn to listen…

Throughout the Year of Voca ons, our statue of St. John Vianney will be in the chapel as a reminder for all of us to pray for an increase in voca ons to the priesthood, diaconate and the religious life for our diocese and from our parish.

Feast of the Assumption Mass Schedule

Mon., August 14th 7 pm Vigil - English

Tues., August 15th 8:30 am, 11:30 and 7 pm Bilingual Mass

In addition to our regular masses, we’ll gather in the

courtyard at 7 pm to pray the rosary followed by the

Bilingual Mass in Honor of this great feast.

Please join us for the rosary and Mass!

There will be a mee ng for anyone interested in being part of our new Voca on Commi ee, on Thursday, August 17th, at 7 pm in the Villani Center. We need members who will pray for Voca ons and encourage the young people of the parish to consider a voca on to the priesthood, diaconate, or religious life.
