VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
As churches resume public liturgies, it is abso-
lutely imperative that the church be kept as
clean and safe as possible. To achieve that, we
must have your help. Mr. Glenn Sharp is
graciously working to develop and coordinate
teams to help keep our church clean and safe
when public Masses resume.
We need people who are not in the at-risk
categories for sickness to help in keeping the
church clean and orderly.
If you are willing to commit to helping, please

We encourage you to wear masks for Mass and to carry hand sanitizer with you. So-
cial distancing of 6 feet must be kept in the pews, communion line and at the altar rail.
Households do not have to distance within the group but that individuals and households
must distance from other individuals and households.
Distances of 6 feet are denoted by blue tape in the pews to help you determine the distance.
The 29th annual Novena to the Infant
Jesus of Prague at St. Mary’s Church,
Martins Ferry, has announced that the
Novena for July 6 thru August 31, 2020
has been cancelled due to the
Coronavirus.
The Adoration Chapel remains closed until further notice.

has been established at
Catholic Central High School!
The beneficiaries of the scholarship are CCHS
students with demonstrated
financial need and who
are parishioners of St. Peter Church.
Kathy attended St. Peter grade school and CCHS.
She married her husband, Paul, at St. Peter’s.
Please remember that as the public celebration of Masses resumes, those faithful
who are in at-risk groups, those who care for people in at-risk groups,
and those who have any symptoms of sickness at all are most strongly
encouraged not to go to Mass.
Bishop Jeffrey M. Monforton has dispensed Catholics residing in the Diocese of
Steubenville and other Catholics present in the Diocese of Steubenville from the
obligation to participate in Mass on Sundays and other holy days of obligation
at this time.

underway. Our goal this year is $51,555.00.
As of June 2nd, 80 families have pledged
21,377.00 to the 2020 campaign. This amount
has our parish short of our goal by $30,178.00
