The Schaefers, Durants and Coles have graciously agreed to host the Community Thanksgiving Dinner here at COS, Thursday, November 28th. Dinner will be served at 1pm. Please bring a dish to pass and your table service. There is a sign-up sheet in Fellowship Hall or for more information, call Janet Schaefer 436-5180

The 25th Anniversary of the Cheboygan Crisis Pregnancy Center will be celebrated with its annual Banquet and Silent Auction, Thursday, November 21st at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Cheboygan. Keynote Speaker, Joy Barrow, the first director of the CPC. Doors open at 5:00 for silent auction, Dinner at 6:00 (Homemade turkey sit-down dinner with all the trimmings!) Advance Tickets Only - available through Judy Churchill in

the church office, $20.00. Anyone interested in making a dessert for the dinner is so appreciated!!!Altar Flowers this morning are in loving memory of Hugh Murray on his 90th birthday, from Marianne.

Altar Flowers this morning in patriotic red, white, and blue are placed by Joan Pepper to commemorate Veterans Day. We are all indebted to those men and women who serve or have served our country in our armed forces.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes are now in Fellowship Hall, and are due back by Tuesday, November 19 th . Donations for boxes are welcome as well as monetary donations to help with shipping. If you have any questions, call Judy 436-8682.

The Missions Committee will be hosting a “Safe Travels” luncheon for the Walugembes as they prepare to return to Uganda. A picnic style lunch will be served after church November 17th. Hot dogs and all the fixin’s by donation. Come and wish Kate, Peter and the boys goodbye and safe travels!

Any children wanting to participate in the Harvest Processional please meet downstairs after the Time with Children today and next Sunday. The event is Sunday, November 24th (the Sunday before Thanksgiving).

St. Anthony’s Annual Holiday Gift Expo, Saturday, November 16th, 11am – 3pm at the Parish Life Center. Free Admission, Door Prizes, Bake Sale, Money Raffle, Lunch. Several New Venders this Year - Something for Everyone!!

A Fundraiser to defray the medical cost of Charles “Chuck” McCumby’s battle with cancer. Chuck is a veteran and a lifelong resident of the Mackinaw, Carp Lake area. Benefit will be held Monday, November 11th at the Pancake Chef, from 4:30 – 7:00 pm. Spaghetti with meat sauce, Fettuccine Alfredo, Salad, Rolls & Dessert. Donation - $10. Donations can be made out and sent to the Pancake Chef, noted “C. McCumby”.

**Anyone who would like to donate a dessert, call BJ at 436-5578.

It’s Not Too Late to Make a Pledge for 2014!!Stewardship Forms are in Fellowship Hall.

The Food Pantry will be open every Tuesday from 2-4 pm and Thursday from 10am – noon.

Hanging of the Greens will be held on Saturday, November 30th from 1-2:30 pm. There is a sign-up sheet in Fellowship Hall if you can help.
