At The George, we recognise that every wedding is individual & unique, with that in mind our

dedicated Wedding Consultant will be on hand to help, guide & advise you from the initial

enquiry right through to the day itself.

Celebrate your big day amid the romantic Tudor surroundings’ of The George. Steeped in

History, your guests can enjoy a glass of chilled Champagne overlooking our Historic 16th

Century bowling green or in the splendour of our bright & modern air conditioned Courtyard

Suite which can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests for the daytime reception & up to

200 guests in the evening.

Our Presidential Suite is ideal for weddings of up to 70 guests during the day & up to 100

guests in the evening, self-contained on the first floor The Presidential Suite has its own

private bar & two adjacent anterooms ideal for guests to relax in (No Lift Access).

The hotel is fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies from the smaller more intimate affair to the

larger grandeur celebrations in a choice of ceremony rooms.

Our Terms and Conditions On booking your wedding a deposit of £500.00 is required to secure wedding date which is non-refundable or

transferrable in the event of a cancelation.

The George, Ramada Solihull Hotel will only hold a provisional date for 14 days, after this period the date will

either need to be confirmed with the deposit or the space will be released.

All monies paid to the hotel are non-refundable or non-transferrable. We advise that you take out private

insurance in the unfortunate event of a cancelation.

3 months before the wedding a further non-refundable 50% of the total wedding will need to be paid.

3 weeks prior to the wedding all outstanding monies will need to be paid to the hotel with final details given.

The contract will be issued on the numbers given at booking stage, any reduction in numbers will result in a

charge raised to compensate for lost revenue.

If for any reason you wish to cancel your wedding this must be confirmed to us in writing. Any cancellation that is

within 3 months of your wedding date will incur a full 100% cancellation charge based on your contracted

numbers.

Upgrading your wedding package or adding extras can be calculated and added to your total bill, once the extras

are added to your package this will be written into your contract ready for payment.

The bar closes at 1am on all weddings.

Any Bedroom allocations will be released 30 days prior to the wedding day.

The prices quoted are valid until 31st December 2018 – Subject to any increase in Duty or VAT.
