About WASFAA
► Non-profit organization that provides support to financial aid administrators and other agencies involved in the administration of financial aid programs in Wisconsin’s postsecondary educational institutions
► Comprised of ~450 members representing over 100 institutions (colleges, agencies, and lending institutions) throughout the state
► The WASFAA Handbook is a compilation of WASFAA operational information, policies and procedures which have been reviewed and approved by the WASFAA Executive Committee or have been established as working procedures. This information was originally compiled in document form by the WASFAA Research Committee in 1991.
Mission of WASFAA
► To promote and provide quality administration of financial aid programs in Wisconsin's postsecondary institutions
► Strives to ensure availability of an ethical, equitable, and accessible financial aid delivery system for students attending WI public, private, technical and proprietary colleges and universities
► Provides professional development opportunities to financial aid administrators, high school counselors, and office professional staff

► Serves as communication tool for the association
► All emails regarding announcements and WASFAA events are sent through the listserv
