Assessment, Recording and Reporting System.
Students will be formally assessed 5 times during the year in each subject.
Students’ current performance grades will be entered into the system 3 times during the course of the year.
The system will allow us to identify underachievement by comparing target and current performance grades.
If this occurs, we will address it instantly by inviting the student and his/her parents for interview.
The purpose of the Year 10 mentoring scheme is to support the pastoral and academic
development of students in the year group.
The intention is to build on the current good practice and to work in conjunction with the whole school mentoring and monitoring strategy.
