• Equipment: Be prepared

• Take every opportunity eg Extra Curricular Activities, Trips etc
Uniform
• Student Voice: Wanted a Black Jumper• Year 10 will have to wear a jumper but they can
decide on Blue or Black• KS4 tie will be black and blue• Velcro tie an option• Black Shoes• Stand out as role models• Mature look to give identity• Power of student voice!
Lunchtime Opportunity
• Students will have the opportunity to leave the school site at lunchtime from September
• Positive role models in the local community
• Support the local community
Prepare for September
• Visit websites such as MyMaths, Bitesize• Read some of the suggested books from the reading list
in English• Do some background work for GCSE options• Gather equipment eg scientific calculators, Technology
equipment, PE kit.• Look at the syllabus for GCSE subjects to prepare• Watch the news, get informed• Establish a good working area for homework: bright;
fresh air; no distractions eg games consoles• Complete the Summer work packs that some subjects
will hand out at the end of term to support learning.
