WELCOME TO YOUR NEW ROSANNA STATION When the new Rosanna Station opens on Friday 8 May it will become a Host station with staff available from 6.30am–10.30am weekdays. There are two entrances currently available, one at Lower Plenty Road and the other at Beetham Parade near Subway. While the station is now open, temporary arrangements are in place as work continues around the station precinct. Until mid 2018, we’ll be completing the fit-out of the waiting room and kiosk, as well as the architectural finishes on the station walls and canopies. Work will also continue around the ramps and lifts, the station parking facilities and landscaping. Designed with improved accessibility, safety and connectivity in mind, once finished the new station will include: A new retail space and forecourt accessible from either side of the station Safer waiting areas, better lighting and CCTV cameras, and toilets In addition to stair access, there will be ramps for entry to the forecourt and lifts to platforms Secure bicycle storage, new bicycle paths, safer walkways and pedestrian crossings that provide connections to the Rosanna Village shops, Rosanna Library and Rosanna Parklands New bus stops with digital displays for rail and bus information New car parks with larger car spaces and no reduction in the number of car parks A designated kiss-and-ride area.
